Day One: I had a surprisingly easy day today, no cravings even though I saw Cowboy Bread (What Jonah calls Twinkies), and Chocolate toffee covered Mac nuts in the house. Breakfast was an apple, snacked on sticks & twigs (Mary Gone Crackers brand) and almonds. Lunch was red peppers, and broccoli. Dinner was an assortment from the hot bar at Down to earth (split pea soup, teriyaki tofu, veg. chilli, basmati rice, & other vegan delights. Then it was washed down with some delicious watermelon juice by Govindas... deelish! I managed to do the short meditation in the book...
Meals 3 days before the cleanse consisted of cheese cake, chicken nuggets, fries, turkey pasta, cheerios, oatmeal, veg. pasta, bread pudding, kale popcorn, garlic cheese tortillas, chicken stirfry, combination peperoni & cheese pizzas.
Until June 14th, 2009 Ronnie & I will be cutting out the following from our diet:
-Caffeine
-Alcohol
-Animal Products (meat)
-Gluten
-Sugar
